Who Are We?
The Rochester Mountain Bike Team is a high school club team uniting students from all 3 district high schools in Rochester Community Schools. Club varsity letters are offered at Adams, Rochester and Stoney Creek High Schools for those students racing in our Varsity Program.
Students from out-of-district schools are welcome and encouraged to join us as well, with some out of district schools also participating in the varsity letter program.
We train at four locations regularly: Addison Oaks County Park, Bloomer Park in Rochester, Stony Creek Metropark, and River Bends Park in Shelby Township.
Note: Mountain Biking is not eligible for a gym credit at this time.

What We Offer
Club Rides - We meet Monday evenings at local area single track trails. Students meet at the trailhead and then divide up into groups based upon speed and skill levels. Coaches lead the groups for about 1-1/2 hour long rides exploring our local trails. Student abilities vary from beginner to experienced riders. We always have a large number of first year riders. There is a group for everyone!
Club Racing - Student riders will be given the opportunity to join our optional racing program. Racers compete in the MiSCA (Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association) Sunday Racing Series in late August through mid October. Races are optional! Students can choose to participate in none, one, a few, or all six of the MiSCA races.
Varsity Racing - For those students choosing to take their racing to a higher level, RMBT offers an additional Varsity Level Racing Program. Check our Racing tab to learn more.
Varsity Elite Racing - This is our highest level of programming for students who are committed to training and are preparing to race in the Varsity class at MiSCA events. Students apply in November for the following season.
Special Events - Past ride events have included Velodrome, Adventure Riding and Cyclocross. We feel that is important to offer diverse opportunities to our students. Athletes are also encouraged to participate in cycling races outside of MiSCA, and have raced at

TEAM MISSION
To introduce Rochester area students to the sport of mountain biking in a fun and relaxed manner. To teach and develop the necessary skills for riding single track trails and instill a lifelong passion for the sport. The team will race in the Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association MiSCA series in the fall competing against other high school students and teams. Racing is optional!
